In recent years, I’ve realized how important it is to cultivate a deep connection between body, mind, and spirit.
Through reading authors like Daniel Goleman, who explore emotional and spiritual intelligence, I’ve deepened my understanding of how connecting with these dimensions requires working on all aspects of our being.
According to Goleman, emotional intelligence is about our ability to understand and manage our emotions, while spiritual intelligence invites us to reflect on the deeper meaning of life and connect with something greater than ourselves.
To access these inner resources, we must nurture balance across body, mind, and spirit, through practices that center us and allow us to live with more awareness and authenticity.
Everyday life, with its constant demands and pressures, often leaves us feeling like we’re chasing something vague, always trying to do more, better, without ever feeling truly fulfilled.
I’ve experienced this myself. And because I lived it firsthand, I knew it was time to take the next step, to expand my tools, for myself and to offer even greater support to the people I coach.
I had already followed Daniel Lumera’s meditations online and read his books, but I felt ready for more.
I wanted to fully immerse myself in a journey that would not only enrich my personal growth but also offer a new perspective to integrate into my professional work.
That’s why I decided to attend the introductory Filo d’Oro retreat.
The introductory retreat of Il Filo d’Oro is a three-day immersive experience focused on meditation, bioenergetics, inner connection, and meditations on forgiveness and kindness.
During this journey, I explored powerful techniques to access new dimensions of self-awareness, leading to greater clarity and well-being.
The program is centered around four core talents:
Meditative Talent: Understanding the five states of mind, attention, concentration, contemplation, meditation, and realization.
Devotional Talent: A flow of love toward the infinite, opening the way for transformative experiences.
Transcendental Talent: Harnessing the power to create your reality and shift your perception.
Gnostic Talent: Connecting with your essential identity beyond temporary roles and identifications.
But this journey wasn’t just for my personal wellness, it was also a valuable opportunity to acquire tools I can now integrate into my work.
Throughout the retreat, I explored the role of frequencies in shaping inner harmony — frequencies that reminded me so much of the ones I work with in non-linear dynamic Neurofeedback.
Whether it’s through Om chanting, mantras, or prayer, I saw clearly how working with specific sound frequencies can harmonize mind and body, just as it happens in my Neurofeedback sessions.
This insight inspired me to enhance my coaching approach, incorporating breathwork and grounding techniques during sessions with my coachees.
I also experienced powerful bioenergetic exercises that not only help release physical tension but also create internal space for deeper listening and self-awareness.
These practices gave me greater mental clarity and helped me approach daily challenges with a renewed perspective.
I’m deeply grateful for this experience and for the new awareness it brought into my life.
What I’ve learned is not only for myself, it’s something I now carry into my daily work, helping others find that much-needed balance between body, mind, and spirit.
